Last week (July 4 and 5) members of the Twin-Control consortium gathered at COMAU’s headquarters located in Castres, France, for the 33-month plenary meeting.
During the meeting, partners checked the status of the industrial evaluation process that is being done at this stage of the project. In addition, recent activities and final steps in dissemination and exploitation were discussed.
Mani Ghassempouri showed the workshop of COMAU, where their machines are assembled. Specifically, the COMAU Urane machines analysed by project partners are a new version of the Twin-Control use cases located in the Cleon plant of RENAULT.
Twin-Control project is entering its last three months. According to project coordinator Mikel Armendia, “final steps towards evaluation of Twin-Control are being performed. For exploitation, final steps towards the marketing of Twin-Control results are being carried out. Regarding dissemination, last efforts are focused in the writing of a book summarizing Twin-Control project activities”.
